 We're finally done with completing the tales. We did a very good job. Many thanks to everyone who contributed. The final version of the tales has been uploaded. Happy reading.👏👏👏

There was once a rich man whose wife lay sick, and when she felt her end drawing near she called to her only daughter to come near her bed, and saidindi, "Dear child, be pious and good, and God will always take care of you, and I will look down upon you from heaven, and will be with you." And then she closed her eyes and expired. The maiden went every day to her mother's grave and wept, and was always pious and good. When the winter came the snow covered the grave with a white covering, and when the sun came in the early spring and melted it away, the man took to himself another wife.

The new wife brought two daughters home with her…

PART-2 OLGU YILMAZ

The new wife brought two daughters home with her…At first, the maiden felt happy because she would have fellows for her recompensation however everything went wrong with these new people. Her stepmother didn't like her and behaved her like a servant when her husband away for his works. The young girl was cleaning home, ironing clothes of her sisters in law and cooking all day which felt her into despair. She lost her mother in more recent times and was reclused to home with a burden of houseworks on her shoulders. When her father returned home, her mother and sisters in law used to be nice to her so her father used to think that they were getting along well altogether.

The young girl had to find a way to get rid of these people but she did not want to upset her father too. She wanted to speak with her friends but her stepmother did not allow her to meet other people.

Part-3 ASİYE DEREKÖY

She couldn't stand the torture any longer. How could she be saved? She thought she had no other choice and started making plans to escape. But where would she go? She thought of Aunt Mary, who lived in the town a few miles from their home. She had last seen her at her mother's funeral. Would her aunt accept her? She had absolutely no idea about it. However, she risked everything and started to make a plan to escape. Her aunt's house was quite far away. She could reach her aunt's house on foot for at least five days. She secretly began to hide half of her food every day. She also put her mother's old coat and her mother's hair comb in her bag. She also put a small knife in case of any danger. At the end of a week, she completed her preparations. Now she was waiting for the right time to run away from home. She couldn't set out at night, that would have been quite dangerous.

 She had to leave after her father left for work. Her stepmother and stepsisters would go out after dad went to work and wander around until evening. This would save time. Yes, she was determined… She couldn't sleep with joy as she thought it was her last night in this house. At last she had sunk into the morning. However, she did not wake up in the morning. She prepared breakfast every day. The stepmother, suspicious of the situation, entered her room angrily. The stepmother, said, “Get up, lethargic, get breakfast ready!”. When the stepmother kicked the girl's bed, she saw the bag under the bed. She immediately understood the stepmother Cinderella's plan to escape. She got very angry. She threw the girl's purse out the window. And she dragged her to the attic and locked the door. The stepmother said, “Stay here for a while so you can come to your senses.” Cinderella was very upset and cried a lot. Then Cinderella said, “Why is everything going so badly? Mom please help!” At that moment, a light reflected from an old chest. She opened the chest and found a box inside. The girl was very excited and with trembling hands she opened the box. Inside the box she found a note and a key. Cinderella couldn't believe her eyes...

PART-4 MARİA MANUELLA TORRES

Cinderella couldn't believe what she was seeing! She was so astonished by the content of the box that she went to hide the items inside the attic, where no one would look for them.

Cinderella was locked in the attic for two nights, but she did all of the household tasks, and her father had no idea what her stepmother was doing to his unfortunate daughter.

The stepmother and her two daughters went out one day to buy dresses for a ball to choose a wife for the prince, which had been announced. Cinderella spent the afternoon trying to figure out what she could do with that key. She searched the entire house but was unable to find the key's lock. She then walked into her mother's room, sat on the floor, with tears in her eyes, said, "Why is everything going so wrong?" Please, Mother, help me!

Then, at the bottom of the room, a fairy godmother appeared, brilliant and shimmering, dazzled Cinderella's eyes, and said:

       - "I am the solution to your problems, and I am here to help you!"

Cinderella, surprised, simply followed her. Her expression indicated that she was still in shock.

Cinderella was led to the back of the room by the fairy godmother, who asked her to take out the only remaining family photo and look behind it. She saw a lock and jumped at the chance to try it. She unlocked the safe and found a beautiful dress of her mother inside; she took it out and placed it in front of her, a tear running down her cheek as she remembered her mother wearing it...back in the days when they were happy.

Cinderella heard a noise and realized they had arrived at their home! She stumbled with her costume, quickly picking it up and acting as if nothing had happened.

The stepmother shouted her name, and Cinderella quickly came downstairs. The sisters were euphoric and hysterical, for they had bought the dress they dreamed of taking to the ball. Cinderella asked her stepmother if she could go with her sisters to the ball, and the stepmother replied with an evil laugh: - You, with those rags, would only humiliate us! Cinderella, each one is as he or she is, and you don't belong there!

Destroyed, but convinced that she was going to the ball, she began to make preparations for the big moment.

Cinderella spoke to her fairy godmother every day, as soon as her stepmother and her two sisters left the house.

Cinderella continued to play the role of Cinderella on the big day, while her sisters were worried about getting ready for the ball. Cinderella came to their aid. The preparations were both exciting and stressful for the sisters. The stepmother was convinced that one of her daughters would be chosen by the prince to marry...

As soon as they left, Cinderella began to prepare...

PART-5 İREM İNCİ

But cinderella would run away again, and Cinderella's father was afraid she'd get mad.She thought it best to take her to the chalet, so she went to her room to get ready, and when she got ready, she called him to Cinderella.
      
     Cinderella immediately went to her stepmother. She's going to prom, so she can't fit in.The stepmother was furious when she saw cinderella in a dress that said, "Why are you wearing this cheap dress?! Or do you think you can go to promThey won't even let you in in that outfit. What are you waiting for, his house is only clean twice today."Cinderella was very upset when she heard, and she said, "Stepmother, please let me go. It's my dream to sew the dress, and I made it out of my mother's old dress.She said,"I really want to go to prom." The stepmother got even angrier and spilled the ink on the table into Cinderella's dress .He kicked her out of the room. Seeing Cinderella's inked dress, her siblings started laughing and telling her how ugly the dress was. Cinderella couldn't stand it, so she went up to her room crying. His brothers got into the carriage without caring about Cinderella.Before her stepmother left, she locked the door so Cinderella wouldn't run away and went to the girls.

. The magical grandmother who watched what happened couldn't bear cinderella's crying and asked, "Is there anything I can do for you?" Cinderella told the tailor she'd be very grateful if she found a horse-drawn carriage and a car driver to go. The magic grandmother was happy to grant that wish.
He made a cart out of pumpkins and a cart out of a mouse.
It is certain that by 12 o'clock at night either Cinderella will probably rot away from the car and possibly the balm.Cinderella thanked the fairy grandmother and put the ink spilled outfit in her bag. Pumpkin got in the car and drove away. There was only one tailor open at prom. He was also a royal tailor. When he came to the tailor, he met a tall, handsome man who told him that ink had spilled on his dress.The young man put the dress on a special water and they started to ink. While waiting, the young island asked Cinderella why she was going to the ball. In Cinderella, she explained that her real dream dress was given to her and her stepfather did not give it to her. Raising a young man is to become his dream dress.

    Cinderella, she explained that her real dream was to make clothes for people and she wouldn't let her stepmother go. The young man happily said that his dream too was to sew a dress. The subject went on and on, and they told each other almost everything. They got along so well that Cinderella didn't realize it was past 12. When he went to the door to leave, he saw that the carriage had turned into a rotten pumpkin. Worried that she would not be able to return home, Cinderella explained the situation to the young man.The young man said, "Don't worry, I actually wanted to come here to sew clothes because I am prince Balodal couldn't see a lady we have in common. If you want, I can drive you home." Surprised by what she heard, Cinderella thanked the prince for the kind offer and they got on the carriage together and set off. The prince proposed to Cinderella in the car, and Cinderella accepted the offer, provided that her stepmother and father informed her.

  She was very surprised to see her stepmother Cinderella at the door with the prince. Her siblings started shouting at each other out of jealousy. Cinderella told her stepmother that she was going to marry the prince, and they went to the palace to prepare for the wedding together. Two days later, the wedding of the prince and Cinderella was forty days and forty nights. Except for her stepmother, all the people welcomed this marriage happily. Cinderella and the prince opened a tailor shop and lived happily ever after.Three apples fell from the sky, someone who reads this tale, someone who does not give up on their dreams, and someone who has a good heart.

                                           

                                                         HANSEL AND GRETEL

Near a great forest there lived a poor woodcutter and his wife, and his two children; the boy's name was Hansel and the girl's Grethel. They had very little to bite or to sup, and once, when there was great dearth in the land, the man could not even gain the daily bread. As he lay in bed one night thinking of this, and turning and tossing, he sighed heavily, and said to his wife, "What will become of us? we cannot even feed our children; there is nothing left for ourselves."…

PART-2 DİLEK ÖRNEK

His wife said; " You know, there's an orphanage at the end of the forest. Shall we leave the children there? At least they won't starve there. Besides, we can have them back when we're better off." His wife thought that they would live in better conditions in the orphanage than starving the children. The woodcutter, after some desperate thought, decided that this was the best solution

The orphanage was a tall towering building at the end of the forest.It was the headmaster was a very evil woman, but also a witch, he steals children's laughter with his powers, so he always looked happy. If the children in the orphanage that's why they always looked sad. It was also among the rumors that some families could not find their children when they went to pick them up.

Of course, Hansel and Gretel's family didn't believe any of that. The next day , the woodcutter told Hansel and Gretel of their decision.He said that he would take them back once their condition improved. The two brothers were very upset.They did not want to be abondoned from their parents.But they also realized that there was nothing they could do. Hansel and Gretel set off with their father, taking very little belongings of their own.

PART-3  MERVE SAĞLAM

When Hansel and Gretel arrived at the orphanage with their father, they came across a very old dilapidated building.Hansel and Gretel got scared and hid behind their father. When their father knocked on the door, the headmaster of the orphanage confronted them. Their father told them that he loved them and would come back to take them. He hugged both of  them and started walking away. Hansel looked around and realized that the rumors about the orphanage were true, but he did not say anything to Gretel. Hansel and Gretel hugged each other in fear. They followed the headmaster silently down the long dark corridor. After the headmaster unlocked a rusty door, the eerie sight of the dormitory appeared before the children.

The dormitory was empty and cold,but it bore traces of the other children. Muddy footprints on the floor, cracks in the walls, handprints and dirty sheets were the first things that caught their eye. Pointing to the bed in the farthest corner, the headmaster said to Gretel, "Get to the bed and wait there!" and left taking Hansel with him. After sitting on the edge of her bed anxiously for a while, Gretel heard voices coming from outside. She opened the door and started to listen to the voices coming from the opposite room.

The headmaster was shouting and Hansel was crying with a sigh. After a while the headmaster came out of the room with Hansel but there was something strange...Hansel was very unhappy. Gretel was asking what was wrong but Hansel was not talking at all. The headmaster shouted at both of them, "Go to the cafeteria at once!" They noticed there were many children in the cafeteria. But one boy caught their attention.Gretel said "Hey what's your name?" The boy with the scar on his face turned to Gretel and said, "...Mark". Hansel "How did you get here?" Mark said "A long time ago..."

PART-4 ANNA ROGALA

Mark stopped saying anything else. Gretel noticed Mark's glazed eyes and she was determined to find out what had been wrong with this orphanage. Both Gretel and Hansel came up with an idea to convince Mark to say something more about his feelings. So, they invited him to their roomthat night at midnight to talk in secrecy. Mark looked a little bit terrified but he admitted he would come.

They sat down on the sofa in the darkness and Mark felt quite safe to reveal the truth. He whispered  words 'Look, we must find a way to run away from this place. Our headmaster is a witch that uses hypnosis tactics to make all these children extremely unhappy. Actually they feel depressed and this gave the headmaster an advantage in controlling their emotions. She felt that in this way the truth would not come out because everyone would be sad and no one would talk to anyone.' Gretel almost screamed and added : 'That's why Hansel is so weird but how did you manage to stay normal?' Mark replied that he had pretended that he had been hypnotised and in fact he hadn't asleep for a moment she hadn't been able to use her 'magic'.

They took a sheet of paper and a pencil to draw a possible escape plan as Mark had mentioned that there were some mysterious doors which could lead to the exit. Suddenly the headmaster appeared at the doorstep and shouted: 'What the hell are you doing here?'

PART-5 MELTEM MUTLU

The kids were frozen. The witch immediately grabbed the papers and started to laugh with her cracky voice as she said "Well well well...Look at those cockroaches who are trying to escape." Her eyes were full of anger, "Don't even think about it ever again or you'll end up where the others did." Later she closed her eyes and as she started  whisper some magical words the kids started to feel the sadness covering their souls.The witch took them to a hypogeum where there was nothing but darkness. The witch was punishing them for an indefinite period. They were scared so they sat in silence until a letter came out of nowhere. They immediately opened it, 

"Stay calm and wait till tomorrow night, i'll take you to the first door."

The kids got curious and impatient as the time passed. Later on. a gold shiny key appeared in the hand of a cloaked wizard. Suddenly they were in front of a door adorned with crystals. The wizard left them leaving a map which leads to an orb that had to be found. Kids got around and defeated sharp toothed, big clawed creatures on their way. They found the orb after almost losing many parts of their bodies. When they touched the orb a massive amount of light came out and sparkled all over them. It was magical. They walked out of the new gate and found the witch awaiting. With the orb on their hands they were powerful enough to fight her but something didn't feel right. Who was the wizard, why did he help them, what were they going to do? There were so many questions and so little time. 

PART-6  ( THE END)   Anna Rinaldi

The three children tried to use the orb to fight the witch but  was needed a magic word. Suddenly the wizard appeared and suggested it . Thanks to the orb, the protagonists transformed the witch into a statue and abandoned her in the basement of the orphanage.  Once the witch had been eliminated, Hansel, Gretel and Mark were happy again, and the wizard got rid of the spell and revealed his identity.

 When the three children saw him, they were surprised because the wizard was the cook of their canteen. They took the orb with them and went back home through the forest.  Hansel and Gretel's parents were very surprised to see their children and asked them how they managed to get there.  they answered and told them about the adventure they had just lived and the advantages that the orb could give them. So the children, along with their friend Mark and their parents, lived happily ever after, no worries about money.

MATCH GIRL

It was so terribly cold. Snow was falling, and it was almost dark. Evening came on, the last evening of the year. In the cold and gloom a poor little girl, bareheaded and barefoot, was walking through the streets. Of course when she had left her house she’d had slippers on, but what good hd they been? They were very big slippers, way too big for her, for they belonged to her mother. The little girl had lost them running across the road, where two carriages had rattled by terribly fast.

One slipper she’d not been able to find again, and a boy had run off with the other, saying he could use it very well as a cradle some day when he had children of his own. And so the little girl walked on her naked feet, which were quite red and blue with the cold. In an old apron she carried several packages of matches, and she held a box of them in her hand. No one had bought any from her all day long, and no one had given her a cent.

She huddles up in an alley and lights a match to warm her hands. And…

PART-2 MAGDELENA CICHOCKA

She huddles up in an alley and lights a match to warm her hands. And… suddenly, the door beside her burst open, snuffing out the match. 

“Are you cold my dear?” said an old lady standing in the door. The girl nodded and the old woman invited her to her home, to warm up by a fire. But the girl noticed there was something off about the woman. The girl quickly ran to the fireplace to warm herself up. 

“You know, you could live here with me if you want” said the lady ”But everything comes with a price and I happen to be in a want of something you have” The woman pointed at the girl’s match box. 

“Why?”the girl asked. 

“You don’t know what they are?” The woman was confused. “Those matches have power. They can give you whatever you desire” But the girl didn't want to give away her box, so...

PART-3 HATİCE IŞIK

She tried to hide the box somewhere. The old lady got raged, turned in to an evil witch. 

- I don't think so. Unless you give it to me, you will be my slave forever! 

The girl screemed.

- No way! She then opened the box and lighted.

a match although she didn't know what would happen next.the fire place just infront of her turned into a tunnel and she started run through ...

PART-4 FURKAN GEMİCİ

She ran inside the tunnel and then she entered into a magic book.She saw only one way through so she started to follow the road by running.After a while,she feels exhausted.and she has no other way but to stop running.She then started to look around.Suddenly,she felt something is pulling her dress.She looked down and saw a creature.It had a strange body and face with dog ears and tail and most awkwardly it had wings.

Firstly,the girl got scared and started to walk backwardly but then she understood that the creature was very friendly and so she decided to pet the creature.All of a sudden the creature started to talk the girl again and said ''Hello little human,My name is Cookie.You don't need to worry.Why are you in a hurry?What is your name?

Can you talk ?said the girl.Oh nice to meet you.Suddenly she heard a voice from her behind.ıt was the evil witch.When cookie saw the Evil witch ,he talked again;Hey little girl follow me .They ran and entered the dark forest at the end of the road.

PART- 5 ZEHRA MÜNÜSOĞLU

The match girl and the cookie got tired as they move away from the witch even a little bit. Strangely, they saw an abandoned house standing in the middle of the forest and they decided to go inside. Just as they entered the house, they heard a terrible sound. From where the sound came from, a scary scarecrow rushed towards the match girl. The match girl suddenly lit a match and the scarecrow transformed into a human. And they began to talk:

- You saved me from my captivity , little girl. The evil witch had turned me into a scarecrow. But you saved me. I owe you. What can I do for you?

- It does not matter. I want you to join us in our battle with the evil witch.

- With pleasure. I will help you.

- Thanks.

They decided to spend the night in the abandoned house. In the middle of the night, when everyone was sleeping, the evil witch sneaked into the house.The evil witch wanted attack to the match girl first but Cookie smelt her and screamed. They woke up in fear. While the match girl was taking out the matches in her pocket, the evil witch attacked…

PART-6 ( THE END)  ALİNA MARDARE

The match went out, and the witch put her hand on the box. With a shout, the girl crouched in a corner, looking for Cookie. The witch approached, lighting a match, while the frightened little girl narrowed her eyes, because, in the light of a burning match, the witch looked frightening. But when the witch reached the little girl, she blew into the match, and the witch turned to ashes! The house suddenly turned into a green garden, above which the sun shone merrily and the birds chirped. Next to the astonished little girl sat a scared blond boy.

-      Who are you? the little girl asked.

-       I'm a Cookie! the evil witch had turned me into a strange creature, but now I'm home, this is my parents' garden. Do you want to stay with us? you will not miss anything. For my parents, you will be a much-desired daughter, because you saved me!

Thus, the little girl found a home with warm people, where she lived an eternal happy childhood…
